Halloween 2010...woooohaaahaaahoooowooooo

If you know me at all you know how much of a Mad Men fanatic I am. So this Halloween I decided that Joe and I would dress up as Betty and Donald Draper. Joe was cool with it because he knew his costume would take little effort to create. All he needed was a brimmed hat. There are millions of boutiques in the area I moved into and one day I stepped in one to find a Betty dress and boy did I score big time. The first dress I tried one was a two-piece yellow dress with a high neck and lace around the edges. It was perfect! And after bargaining with the sales lady, I got her to take the price down to $60. Not bad in my opinion!

This halloween was spent going to Joe's friends party in Jersey City. The hosts went all out with decoration and food, it was an absolute blast! We even had dances parties to Thriller....very halloween if you ask me.

Also a few days before halloween, Courtney, Holly, Amanda and I all decided to check out a Haunted House in NOHO called Nightmare Superstitions. This haunted house was a little different because they said that the actors WILL touch you and anything that gets on your clothes will wash out. We all reacted in the same way to this precursor...WHAT?!?! Well they didn't lie. Amanda walked away soaked and I left with fake blood all over my left arm. But it was worth it because it was scary and total fun!

Halloween in New York is one of my favorites times of the year because everyone dresses up and has a blast. See pictures below!
